Tamar Valley, Tasmania. This is a beautiful, more structured style of Pinot noir. The complex and fragrant nose shows dark cherry and plum fruit characters, with some attractive spice and earthy characters. The palate is firm and savoury as a result of the whole bunch fermentation and new oak, but has lovely dark fruit characters which will continue to open up over time...

This wine exhibits all the hallmarks of its cool climate origin - clear varietal expression, balance and long concentrated flavours.  The nose is generous and pure with lashings of cherry, pure pinot fruit and an explosive, perfumed lift.  The palate is balanced and intense with clean fruit characters... 

Baden, Germany.Very concentrated bouquet of mineral spice and fruit with wonderful intensity. Wonderful spice and floral notes. Lovely concentration and depth of flavours on the palate with freshness and a host of spice and mineral notes on the finish. Very fresh and firm acidity holding things together nicely...

Marlborough New Zealand. On the nose the wine shows spice, violets, vanilla and dark cherry. The palate is rich and full with plum and dark cherry alongside hints of smoke, spice and savoury notes. The French oak imparts a gentle vanilla pod flavour and the silky but firm grape tannins are well integrated. The wine has great balance, length and structure and will age well...
