Yarra Valley, Victoria. The terroir of these vines allows for the slow ripening fruit to display powerful red fruits on the front pallet. This wine isn't finished there though as ample structure in the form of acid and silky tannin provides great length and intensity all the way to the back pallet...

Henty, Victoria.  Light cherry red colour. Smells of red cherry, beetroot and smoke with no secondary characters present yet. Attack is light yet muscular with sweet cherry fruit, fine tannins, well integrated French oak and natural lively acid.

Tamar Valley, Tasmania. This wine has beautiful dark cherry, raspberry and strawberry fruit characters with some liquorice and spice characters adding complexity. The palate has fine silky tannins great mid palate richness and well-balanced acidity...

The complex and fragrant nose shows dark cherry and plum fruit characters, with some attractive spice and earthy characters. The palate is firm and savoury as a result of the whole bunch fermentation and new oak, but has lovely dark fruit characters which will continue to open up over time...

Houn Valley, Tasmania. This wine exhibits all the hallmarks of its cool climate origin - clear varietal expression, balance and long concentrated flavours.  The nose is generous and pure with lashings of cherry, pure pinot fruit and an explosive, perfumed lift.  The palate is balanced and intense with clean fruit characters... 

Baden, Germany.Very concentrated bouquet of mineral spice and fruit with wonderful intensity. Wonderful spice and floral notes. Lovely concentration and depth of flavours on the palate with freshness and a host of spice and mineral notes on the finish. Very fresh and firm acidity holding things together nicely...

Marlborough New Zealand. On the nose the wine shows spice, violets, vanilla and dark cherry. The palate is rich and full with plum and dark cherry alongside hints of smoke, spice and savoury notes. The French oak imparts a gentle vanilla pod flavour and the silky but firm grape tannins are well integrated. The wine has great balance, length and structure and will age well...
