McLaren Vale, South Australia. The colour is black/deep brick red, with aromas of spicy blackberry, dark plum and briary characters. There is rich blackcurrant, loganberry and prune flavours on the palate with hints of dark chocolate integrated by mocha oak and balanced by firm tannin. It is a full bodied wine with excellent weight and structure, and with careful cellaring, will continue to develop for many years...
