Shiraz

Barossa Valley, South Australia. Pirathon Shiraz 2020 is dark purple-black in colour. The perfumed boquet is uplifting and indicative of a complex wine with aromas of blackberry, plum, blueberry, rose perfume, chocolate, subtle oak and a hint of spice. The full-bodied palate is rich and mouthfilling with plenty of ripe dark fruits. Background oak barrel characters compliment the bright fruit flavours. There are fine integrated tannins giving the wine a solid structure. This is an extremely balanced Shiraz with fruit, oak and tannin working together to provide harmony. A very lengthy finish completes a powerful but opulent wine. Pirathon is a paramount expression of north-western Barossa Shiraz that will reward time in the cellar for 5-10 years...
