Mosel, Germany. 'Generous ripe yet clean notes of fruits (which include yellow peach, pineapple, melon, quince and pear) are nicely balanced out by refined scents of flowers and anise. Subtle notes of raisin, honeyed dried fruits are wrapped in a delicate touch of cumin, leaving a superb feel of flower honey in the finish. This is a great classy dessert wine with decades of life ahead...'

Dr. Loosen Bernkasteler Lay Riesling Kabinett 2022

Mosel, Germany. Loads of texture, light on flavour, touch of sweetness, fine zingy spritz (at first). All adds up to watch this bottle disappear like magic. It’s, of course, wonderfully perfumed with citrus, Asian spice, wet slate character, the palate not too dissimilar but with a squeeze of tart grapefruit juice for good measure. It’s quite rich its fleshiness but keeps this light, lacy appeal. Brilliant drinking...
