Paul Bara Champagne | Bouzy | HISTORY AND SAVOIR-FAIRE
Founded in 1860, the Bara property began as a farm before becoming a winery in 1965. In the 1950s, Paul Bara launched the family champagne brand and promoted the heritage of Bouzy through his writings. The house became one of the first champagne producers to export to the United States in 1975 and still works with the same importer today. Chantale Bara joined the business in 1980, became co-manager in 1986, and later led major winery renovations while serving as President of the Club Trésors de Champagne.
GRAND ROSE DE BOUZY
Bara Grand Rosé is a rich and flavourful champagne displaying the distinctively elegant character of Pinot Noir.
Soft, pink coloured champagne with abundant, fine bubbles.
Nose: Red fruits dominated by wild strawberry and cherry, and the typical peppery note of Pinot Noir.
Palate: Mirrors the nose with strawberry and raspberry flavours, leading into notes of freshly baked viennoisseries and a morello cherry finish.
Pairing suggestions: Red meats, roast beef with foie gras, tarte tatin.
