This wine is made from 100% Barbera grapes, sourced from the youngest vineyards on the estate. Pico Maccario Mia Barbera d’Asti DOCG is made using modern vinification in stainless steel tanks, which optimally preserves the floral aromas and vibrant cherry fruit characteristics of the Barbera grape, while keeping the alcohol content moderate.
Ruby red in colour, a light and graceful body, enveloped by soft tannins, resulting in a sophisticated and approachable wine. The vibrant flavours of red cherries are elegantly enhanced by subtle hints of violets and herbs.
