The colour is an attractive cherry red. The savoury nose is perfumed with dark maraschino cherry, quince paste, very subtle smoky oak complexity. On the palate the wine is medium bodied, with a excellent acidity and a long finish. Lingering ripe cherry flavours balanced by distinct but gentle tannins.
