Munamuna, Marlborough, New Zealand
Munamuna means 'to be secret' or 'covert' in New Zealand's
native Maori language. Hidden in the heart of Marborough are the vineyards that
make up this classic wine. For years people have been trying to find us, even
in tiny boats lurking in local inlets. What they can tell you is the fruit is
from the Wairau Valley in the Marlborough region and is made by successful
winemaker, Chris Darling.
Organic Sauvignon Blanc 2021
Parcels of wine were selected for blending that produced a varietal
and classic Sauvignon Blanc. Classic aromas of tropical fruit, passionfruit and
lime show through on the nose. The tropical fruits continue on in the mouth
with hints of Melon and citrus which adds great length of flavour. This wine
will drink well anytime complementing white meats, salads and seafood.
