The Cave de Ribeauvillé covers a unique vineyard of 235 hectares with 8 Grands Crus and many terroirs of great value. The entire estate is managed by a quality charter that guarantees manual harvesting, a strict control of yields, vineyard work in sustainable management or organic farming.
All the grapes are brought to the press in whole bunches and the juice then flows by simple gravity into the vats. Thanks to state-of-the-art equipment, the wines of the Cave de Ribeauvillé respect the purity of the grape variety and the identity of each terroir. The wines are frank, straight, fresh, fruity and express all the richness of the great terroirs of Alsace.
Organic Pinot Blanc 2018
A 22.5 acre vineyard around the town of Ribeauvillé, owned by Jean Baltenweck, and worked using organic agriculture methods with no chemical treatments and producing low yields.
Tasting Notes
Very intense and specific nose with dried fruits notes for this Organic Pinot Blanc. In mouth, the wine shows a good structure. It is clear and powerful with freshness in the finale.
