4 Monos Car 2017

4 Monos Car 2017

Madrid, Spain. Car stands for Cariñena, but as the grape is not admitted in the zone, they had to use an ingenious name like 2016 Car and put four monkeys driving a car on the label. 4 Monos - Vinos de Madrid
The 4 Monos project arose out of the friendship between Javier García, Laura Robles, David Moreno and David Velasco - four Madrileños who decided to embark upon winemaking by pure chance. They are dedicated and focused on reviving close to extinct grape varieties that are native to the Vinos de Madrid wine region.

Convinced that good wine is only made with good vines, they cultivate vineyards at Cadalso de los Vidrios, in the foothills of the Sierra de Gredos, showing the environment all due respect in their viticulture and aiming to maintain the personality of each vineyard in the wine. High grown vineyards produce the fruit for these wines and the Garnacha and Albillo wines are currently being recognised within Spain and abroad for their high quality.
