Mornington Peninsula, Victoria.
Primary fruits of red currants, strawberries, sour cherries and a hint of wild raspberry combine with dried herbs and earthy forest-floor aromas. The palate is medium bodied with velvety structure, bright red-fruits and fresh acidity.
It has perfume, it has brightness of fruit, it holds its form well through the finish and doesn’t in any way leave you short-changed as you swallow. Not a complaint to be found, but much pleasure to be had. Jubey cherries, violets, dried spices, cedar-spice. Savoury, dry tannin. Thoroughly enjoyable. 93 Pts Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
