La Tour Travers has been created to pay tribute to the tower which overhang s the Traver’s family vineyards. The 25 years old vines have be en meticulously sourced in the Entre - deux - Mers region of Bordeaux. We have the pleasure to present you this entry - level wine, a great introduction to wines from the Bordeaux region.
Tasting Notes
An entry - level white Bordeaux that’s sealed with a screw cap, this is a 70/15/15 blend of sauvignon blanc, semillon and muscadelle – Bordeaux’s three white grapes. Immediately appealing, its floral citrus blossom, green melon, honeysuckle and tropical fruit aromas are followed up by herbal, grassy characters that add a touch of complexity. There’s not a load of intensity to the melon , grapefruit and mineral flavours, but this rates high on the drinkability charts. ’ 4/5 Points – Ben Thomas, The Weekly Review
