After twenty five years of applying his craftsmanship to international and local producers, Bruce has launched his own range of wines named after the Leeuwin Naturaliste Ridge which is the dominant land form of viticultural significance in Margaret River; our viticultural domaine.

Food Matching

Roast free range chicken | veal | strong cheeses

Maturation
Fermented and matured in one third new 228 L Burgundian oak barriques for 10 months with a mix of low to medium toast levels. The wood is primarily from the Voges and Allier Forrests.

Winemaking

Floris uses a variety of winemaking techniques, including restricted malo-lactic fermentation for textural harmonising. Fermentation and maturation occur in French oak barrels which enables a high ratio of lees contact to the volume of wine. The barrels are stirred fortnightly to add complexity and texture through ‘sur lie’ whilst retaining purity of character and preserving freshness.
