Cooper Burns
Cooper Burns is a winemaking partnership of Mark Cooper & Russell Burns, dedicated to producing tiny amounts of handcrafted, small batch, artisan wines from the Barossa Valley. We aim to make wines with soul, individuality and personality that express the qualities of the vineyard, vintage and passion that went in to making the wines.

Barossa Valley Shiraz
Our  Shiraz comes from gnarled vines at the Kalleske Kalimna Vineyard in the western Barossa Valley. These low cropping, very mature vines produce black fruit with intense flavours.
Hand picking with traditional hand pumpovers and open fermenters, were used to create this wine. Following gentle basket pressing, the wine was filled into new and seasoned French and American hogsheads and barriques.
