Vintage Conditions
The grapes are sourced primarily from nearly 80 year-old vines on Drew Dowie and Lulu Lunn's Tintookie vineyard, which is situated on sandy soils at Blewitt Springs, located on the cooler slopes above McLaren Vale. Our search for more high quality Chenin in 2005 led us to identify an additional vineyard owned by John Brini, located close by in Blewitt Springs and with similar soil profiles and vine age to the Tintookie vineyard.
Tasting Notes
Almost water white with pale green straw hues. Fresh, lively aromas of cut green apple, honeydew melon and white flowers. The aromas follow through onto the palate with a burst of fruit flavour, combined with excellent minerality, crisp acidity and a beautiful, balanced finish.

Fish, crustaceans, vegetables and lighter spicy oriental dishes.
