WINEMAKER’S NOTES
The Suckfizzle Cabernet Sauvignon is a single vineyard wine and as such expresses through each vintage, the site in the season. Over time and from vintage to vintage the wines become a reflection, an archive and a chronology of the events of the vintage and capture the uniqueness of the site while allowing all to witness the development of the wine’s style and personality over time. From Augusta in the very south of the Margaret River region, this wine is a classic and unique example of Cabernet Sauvignon.
TASTING NOTES
Appearance: Deep garnet
Aroma: Classic cabernet aromas of red and black berry fruits, sweet mint, freshly rubbed herbs and bay leaf mingle with oak characters of mocha, chocolate and cedar.
Palate: Medium bodied claret balance with meticulous layering of soft berry fruits, plentiful lithe tannins and fine French oak. The tannins more cradling than restraining impart a velvety mouth feel to the palate. With time both tannins and fruit will further engage and evolve into a stylish and classic Margaret River Cabernet.
