Join us on Tuesday evening 17th September from 6pm to 8 pm at The Menzies Foundation 210 Clarendon Street East Melbourne.
We have two winemakers attending to show us their wares - a sublime range of value for money wines.
From Gippsland meet John Ellis the owner, winemaker and viticulturist from Bellvale and taste his stunning wines.
Taste John’s Estate Pinot Grigio 2013 and the Estate Pinot Noir 2012.
Plus his superb single vineyard wines The Quercus Pinot Noir 2008 and Athena’s Chardonnay 2010.
From the Barossa meet Mark Cooper, winemaker and one half of the Cooper Burns team. Since 2004 with Russell Burns he has been producing some of the best shiraz coming out of the Barossa Valley.
They produce small amounts of Shiraz as and Grenache from low yielding, premium Barossa fruit along with an Eden Valley Riesling.
Taste Mark’s 2009 Shiraz, Grenache 2009 and his 2012 Eden Valley Riesling.
....and as always the wines will be accompanied with some scrummy nibbles.
