An invitation to the last Wineseek tasting of the Year.
Please join me on Wednesday evening 16th November at The Royal Society of Victoria, 8 La Trobe Street Melbourne in the Burke and Wills room between 5.30 pm and 8 pm.
There is free off street parking at the venue which can be accessed from three entries - via Victoria Street, La Trobe Street or Exhibition St. Please do not park in the spots marked for ‘Go Get’ vehicles.
This is a range of extraordinary home grown and imported wines and all will be available to order at very special prices on the evening, plus I have a very special guest.
Ned Goodwin will be in attendance; Ned is one of only a handful of Australia’s Master of Wines. He will be pouring Charles Heidsieck Champagne for you to taste, both the Brut Reserve and Rose Reserve as well as answering any viniferous questions you may have.

Laissez Faire Porongurup Riesling 2015, a silky, textured wine with great length and lively acid finish.
Laissez Faire Shiraz Grenache 2014, from a great year and because I think it is gorgeous.
Giesen Fuder Dillons Point Sauvignon Blanc 2012, the best savvy out of NZ that I have ever tasted.
The Lane Block 3 Chardonnay 2015, Adelaide Hills. A brilliant textural cool climate chardonnay.
Derwent Lime Kiln Pinot Noir 2015, Tassie, beautiful drinking, at a super special price.
Robert Oatley Signature Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, a gobsmacking sub $20 wine.

Rimauresq Rose Cru Classe Cotes de Provence 2015, this is my favourite rose, drop dead gorgeous.
Domaine Pavwlot Savigny-les-Beaune 2014, a sublime, affordable pinot from Burgundy.
Yves Cuilleron Syrah VdP 2015, saigne method rose from 100% syrah, delicious.
Chateau Huradin Grave Rouge 2014, a super priced Bordeaux merlot cabernet blend.
Chateau Bellegrave Saint-Emilion 2013, a classic savoury blend of merlot and franc.
Clomarin Picpoul de Pinet 2015, sensational summer drinking, light, dry, fresh and zingy, scrummy.
