Wine Tasting Invitation.

26 August 2015
Please join me on Wednesday 2nd September at The Menzies Foundation 210 Clarendon Street East Melbourne from 6pm to 8pm.
Taste a line of super wines, a number you may have not heard of, but I guarantee you will be more than impressed. Taste a brilliant French sparkling through a range of extraordinary home grown and imported whites and reds to a breathtaking Barolo from one of the best ever vintages in Italy.
All the wines will be available to order at extra special prices on the evening.
Plus as always there will be tasty nibbles and as we know winter is the best time for oysters!
Taste
Domaine de la Grande Cote de Bourgogne NV
- Burgundy, France.
A stunning sparkler made next door to the Champagne region without the price tag!
Vickery Eden Valley Riesling 2015 - Barossa Valley, South Australia.
John Vickery is rated by the riesling maestro Jeffery Grosset as one of our greatest winemakers ever.
This wine is testament to that and my tasting special price of $19.95 a bottle makes it a bargain.
Tupari Sauvignon Blanc 2013 - Marlborough, NZ.
10% barrel fermentation gives this savvy a delicious rich textural mouthfeel.
Pimpernel Chardonnay 2012 - Yarra Valley, Victoria.
From a great vintage in the ‘Valley’ this is a class act.
Pyren Broken Quartz Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 - Pyrenees, Victoria.
At $16.95 a bottle this is a fantastic value cabernet.
Alma Mora Malbec 2014 - San Jaun, Argentina.
This is not only extraordinarily good wine it defies the price tag of $15.00 a bottle.
Pike and Joyce Pinot Noir 2013 - Adelaide Hills, South Australia.
A great follow up to their highly acclaimed ’12 vintage.
Parker Coonawarra Estate Terra Rossa Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 - Coonawarra, South Australia.
Super cabernet from one of our premium red wine regions.
Chateau Montfaucon Cote du Rhone 2012 - Southern Rhone, France.
A blend of Rhone grape varieties grenache, syrah, cinsault and carignan. A juicy unoaked mouthful.
Solar Viejo Crianza 2011 - Rioja, Spain.
This Tempranillo is balanced and velvety. Medium acidity, ripe tannins, a soft easy drinking wine.
Pira Langhe Barolo 2010 - Piedmont, Italy.
Spectacular wine from a spectacular vintage.
