An invitation to taste some extraordinary wines.
Do join me on Wednesday 9th July at the Menzies Foundation 210 Clarendon Street East Melbourne between 6pm and 8 pm.

Plus I have James Robson, owner and Phil Kearney, winemaker from Ross Hill wines, Orange NSW coming along with a range of their wares for us to taste.

Bass Phillip Crown Prince Pinot Noir 2011
Super pinot from Gippsland made by the master Phillip Jones.
The sold out Bass Phillip Reserve pinot from this vintage was Halliday’s Wine of the Year and his highest rated Australian table wine ever.
Delas Cotes-du-Rhone 2011
From the Southern Rhone this is exceptional drinking for under $20 a bottle.
Reschke Coonawarra Bos Cabernet 2005
With nine years of age - an awesome Coonawarra cabernet.
Domaine A Petit ‘a’ Cabernets 2008
Taste why this producer is hailed as Tasmanian’s finest.
Woodstock McLaren Vale Pilot’s View Shiraz 2012
From one of the best vintages ever in McLaren Vale, and what does McLaren Vale do extremely well - shiraz!
Star Lane Tuscan Blend “Quattro Vitigni” 2012
From Beechworth and Rick Kinzbrunner from Giaconda assists in making this blend of sangiovese and nebbiolo with a dash of merlot and shiraz.
The Lane Adelaide Hills Block 10 Sauvignon Blanc 2013
The fruit for this wine is from the block next to the where fruit for the Shaw and Smith is grown and this also is one class savvy.
Babich Black Label Pinot Gris 2013
A super vintage in the Marlborough area, a great gris and a Wineseek exclusive.
Skillogalee Clare Riesling 2013
Clare riesling from this vintage is simply a must try.
Fraser Gallop Margaret River Parterre Chardonnay 2012
This is a wonderful complex chardonnay and at half the price of the big WA names. Awarded 94 points by James Halliday.
