It is the WineSeek Christmas in July tasting I have a spectacular range of wines to taste and tasty Christmas inspired nibbles to accompany the wines.

Taste
42 Degrees South Bubbles, super sparkling from the Island state
3 Drops Riesling 2012, consistently one of the country’s top Rieslings, Mr. Halliday has just awarded this wine 95 points.
Alta Pinot Grigio 2012, this Adelaide Hills grigio is a knockout, an aromatic, vibrant and zesty mouthful.
Sepp Moser Gruner Veltliner 2011, having just about exhausted stocks (only two dozen left) of the 2011 Lois Gruner I had at our last tasting, this is more than an admirable replacement.
McHenry Hohnen Calgarup Chardonnay 2011, seriously an exceptional wine from the Margaret River, my chardy of the year to date.
Tar and Roses Sangiovese 2012, earthy, spicy, savoury and finishing rich long and dry. A wonderful Heathcote take of this classic Tuscan variety.
Brothers in Arms Shiraz 2007, the plate abounds with blackcurrant, mocha and spice flavours finishing long and intense.
Nanny Goat Pinot Noir 2012, from a great vintage in the famed Central Otago region of Kiwi land this a beautiful wine that is only to get better.
Cape Barren GSM 2010, the three varieties that make up this wine work in wonderful harmony displaying an array of delicious berry and spicy notes that finish velvety and long.
Shelmerdine Dulcis Sticky 2011 375ml, very limited, a perfumed, harmonious and delicious a late picked viognier that works at both ends of a meal as a wonderful aperitif or with berries, blue or goats cheese at the end.

I look forward to your company,
Michael@WineSeek
