With a family lineage tracing back to one of the founding wine families of the Barossa, the Brothers Basedow – Peter, Michael and Richard – proudly continue their family tradition of winemaking in the Barossa Valley. B3 reflects the vision and commitment of the 5th generation Brothers Basedow to their Barossa wine heritage.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby and crimson hues. This wine exhibits rich of brambleberry, new leather, cigar box and cedar. The nose is further accentuated with lifted plums dusted with cinnamon, and underlying mint chocolate. The palate is lusciously abundant with dark berries layered with vanilla biscuit and chocolate and finishes with dark chilli-chocolate laced with star anise which provides exceptional length. A medium bodied palate that shows links to the 'Old World' in profile. Fruit richness, with soft but firm approachable tannins.
