Formby & Adams
Although Metala was settled in the 1850s and is a fifth generation vineyard with a long and proud family history, it is the Brothers In Arms who made it what it is today. In 1891 William Formby wielded his leading team of Clydesdale horses into action, planting the first two acres of Cabernet Sauvignon. Today his great, great grandson Guy Adams continues the family’s grape growing traditions, consistently leading the way through a mix of traditional and modern vineyard management and winemaking practices that enable him to produce the best possible wines from his famous vineyard. Treated to eighteen months maturation in a combination of one to four year old French oak barriques. Alcohol 15.2%
Guy Adams grows wine grapes for some of Australia's most esteemed labels. The pick of the crop, from two individual plantings on the preeminent Metala Vineyard, is held back for Formby & Adams, the Cabernet contingent of Brothers in Arms.

Tasting Notes
In today’s line up of exotica, Cutting Edge stands out for its true-blue, ripe fruitiness. It’s sourced from the Adams’ family’s historic Metala Vineyard at Langhorne Creek and presents the region’s pure varietal definition and plush mid palate. The cabernet component shows a slight “minty” hint and the Shiraz adds a plummy plumpness. A kiss of sweet oak adds to the voluptuous, pure drinking pleasure.
