The Other Wine Co. is a new venture that aims to make wines from the right grape, grown in the right place. That may sound obvious, but it’s a principle honoured more "in the breach than the observance." Really good matches of variety and place take a long time to become entrenched, but when they do, the proof is in the glass.
Tasting Notes
The Other Wine Co. Grenache has the characters that we love about the variety and the region. Classic Grenache red fruit and spice, with the intensity and concentration from old vines of McLaren Vale.
Taste: Super fresh and intense raspberries, rhubarb, sage and violets; all packed into a medium bodied wine.
Place:From McLaren Vale - a 45 year old, dry-grown vineyard in Blewitt Springs.
Grown in McLaren Vale, vinified and bottled in the Adelaide Hills. Made by Winemakers: Martin Shaw and Adam Wadewitz.
Drink: Right now is ideal drinking...and for up to another 3-5 years.
