Classification: Certified Organic
Marlborough, New Zealand. The nose presents as clean and flinty with mineral pretty floral notes and kiwifruit also. There is a lovely purity of texture and an attractive fleshiness in the mouth. Clean, crisp acids are augmented by mineral notes and wholesome flavours notably melon and granny smith apples. Honey dew melon lingers on the finish.

"From the Wairau Valley, this is an elegant expression of Sauvignon displaying currant, lime zest and a touch flinty characters on the nose. The palate is racy and taut with mouthwatering acidity and an impressively long linear finish. The wine should be brilliant with shellfish. At its best: now to 2013." 89 POINTS 4.5 STARS -Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct, 2010
"Some grapey/floral notes. Palate a nice balance of fruit, acid and residual sugar."

"Brilliantly clear straw yellow in colour, this has a gentle nose of gooseberries, fennel, savoury herbs, citrus fruits and minerals. A dry, elegant wine the fruit expression is restrained and relatively subtle for this variety. There is still excellent freshness and liveliness, and the laid back nature enables accessibility and drinkability. Fruit from the organically certified 5 ha ‘Headwaters’ block in the Wairau Valley. Cool fermented to 12.0% alc. in stainless-steel. A stylish wine to enjoy over the next two years as an aperitif and with shellfish." 17/20 4 STARS -Raymond Chan Wine Reviews, www.raymondchanwinereviews.co.nz, Jan 2011
