Adriano Ramos Pinto founded the house in 1880 and the excellent quality of the wines soon gained recognition on the export market. Adriano’s business foresight made him something of a pioneer in the Port market whereby he supported the promotion of his wines with a quality advertising campaign based on posters designed by some of the most famous artists of his time.

The wine of the founder of Casa Ramos Pinto. This wine conquered Brazil to such an extent that Port wine became known only as "Adriano”. It is very pleasant and versatile.

VINIFICATION
Adriano is a six-year-old blend. After six or seven years, the red pigmentation of the Port wine begins to accelerate and tawny nuances start to appear.

TASTING NOTES

The ageing in oak provides the aromas of dried fruit and nuts (plum and walnut) as well as ethereal and balsamic aromas.
The attack of fresh fruit is gradual and intense. The perfect balance between freshness and age. The peppery notes come from its maturity. Long-lasting, elegant and smooth on the palate.

GASTRONOMY & STORAGE
Due to its characteristics, it can be drunk with melon and ham, desserts made from dried fruit and nuts and as an accompaniment to a good conversation at the end of a meal. Serve between 18º and 22º C. Store the bottle upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct light or heat sources.
