Pfalz, Germany. Rich aromatic spices, tropical fruits and a hint of smoke on the nose. Nicely balanced in the mouth, with a juicy texture to the sweet peach fruit. Salty herbs linger on the palate. Offers fine potential...
Pfalz, Germany. Slightly
muted nose, prominent yeasty notes, light nutty notes, very ripe stone
fruit, some yellow melon and candied citrus fruit, hint of lactic and
volatile notes, earthy and herbaceous notes, hint of wax and wilted
leaves. Ripe, partly candied fruit on the palate, vegetal and herbaceous
notes, more very light lactic and volatile traces, elegant, fairly
prominent acidity, earthy and mineral notes in the background, good
grip, very good substance and good persistence, not particularly deep,
light tannic touch, slightly noticeable alcohol, floral notes and a hint
of juniper, becomes clearer and more compact with aeration, still
extremely young, very good finish...

smell and taste.
Palate: The 2010 vintage shows the highest elegance with a Knigsbacher
minerality, which is paired with a silky body and fine flint flavours...

citrus. This made it a great companion to fried squid marinated in
chilli and lemon, but the spicy mineral and herb are interesting enough
in their own right. Definitely worth the money, and then some. Forget
about the summer wine nonsense..."
Pfalz, Germany. Concise, delicate peach and citrus fragrances with spicy herbaceous minerality on the nose. Very firm on the palate, lots of salt, mineral and very herbaceous spice, licorice, very good persistence and depth, very young, very harmonious, long finish. Very good!
Pfalz, Germany. Fine, very complex minerality on the nose, balsamic notes, orange zest,
alpine meadows, yeasty, young and very playful. Has a dense, oily
mouthfeel with candied flowers, rose oil, freesia, yeast, pear, sea
salt, while still young and undeveloped, savory minerality, elegant
acidity, (some wood?), Very good finish, minerals and spice on the
