Domaine Bernard Fleuriet Sancerre Blanc Tradition 2009

Domaine Bernard Fleuriet Sancerre Blanc Tradition 2009

Domaine Bernard Fleuriet et Fils
Since 1991, our farm has developed 20 hectares of vines on steep slopes in of the appellation of Sancerre and 3 ha at Renardières. Planted on 35 plots, the vines are on the three soils in Sancerre and exclusively on slopes facing south, southeast. The land, very typical and representative of the diversity of the vineyards, are distributed to 10% on Silex, 50% on Caillottes and 40% white land, allowing wines of great complexity and an elegant subtlety.

The wines are made exclusively from Sauvignon for the whites and Pinot Noir for red and rosé. The bottling is done in the field from the month of May for whites and from August for the reds.

Tasting Notes
This wine shows the great expressions of Sauvignon Sancerre and the terroir. It is the blend of 50% "clay-limestone" which provides boldness and power and 50% "caillottes" which gives it its freshness, vivacity and fruitiness. This wine will go perfectly as an aperitif or with seafood and even some cheeses, such as manure Chavignol.
