With a family lineage tracing back to one of the founding wine families of the Barossa, the Brothers Basedow – Peter, Michael and Richard – proudly continue their family tradition of winemaking in the Barossa Valley. B3 reflects the vision and commitment of the 5th generation Brothers Basedow to their Barossa wine heritage.
Tasting Notes
Pale in colour with light green tinges. Lifted aromatics of citrus, lime and lemons balanced with some perfumes, floral and sherbet notes. A complex bouquet that will entice the drinker. The palate is clean, long and well balanced with seamless acidity and a tight mineral, steely edge.
Cellar Potential
A wine that is worth drinking in its youth but will reward patience. 10 years of perfect cellaring will see the wine develop into a honied toasty example of aged Australian Riesling.
