| Palate: |
Folds of smooth, rounded fruit, plum and berry, overlaying well combined tannins showing a distinct depth of flavour and complexity throughout. Charming earthy overtones reminiscent of pudding and cloves with a hint of black cracked pepperon the finish supported by 15 months classic American oak treatment. This full-bodied wine is well balanced with a good length of palate. Approachable now with the promise of increased development for a conservative 4 – 6 years. |
