The fruit for this wine was sourced off our winery vineyard. Soil profile is brown to red loam over limestone. Yield was 2.2 tonnes/acre.
Despite a prolonged heatwave in February, the vineyard buffered it very well and the resulting wine displays distinctive varietal character. The grapes were harvested in early April.
